Sophie knew two things the moment she opened her eyes.
1. She was dreaming.
2. It was not one of her normal dreams.

The place she was at she had visited only once before in her life and has had yet to return to and probably won't for a long long time....heaven. She looked at the distant gates knowing if she were to pass them wondrous white buildings would await. Even though that her body form was only 7 at the time and she had only been there once she could describe every detail without fail, the tall buildings seeming to be made out of pure white clouds and crystals, the sounds of the musical instruments that mortal ears couldn’t hear or attempt to understand, people in white robes walking by.

It brought pain thinking of the uncle who showed her this place, it was partially her fault for his death and she would never forgive herself. She looked at her body and noticed that she had nothing on, naked as the day she was born, but she didn’t feel awkward or embarrassed as she was partially transparent able to see the soft clouds through her foot.
She felt a familiar voice calling to her ahead the opposite way from heavens gates. She knew the call, it had both comforted her in times of physical pain and sadness yet at the same time has caused her fear and emotional pain along with weariness that was decades old.

She walked towards it her long black hair almost touching her ankles and she felt her wings were suddenly on her back spread open. It didn’t take her long to arrive at what looked like a crystal pool. The voice came again calling her into the water.

Sophie only hesitated for a moment before stepping on the water she felt the coolness on her toes but oddly enough her feet didn’t sink in, she was walking on water.

She walked until she reached the center of the pool and knelt, she looked at her own reflection. Seeing her black hair and wide eyes from her mother though the silver eye coloring and the facial shaping came from her father giving her an innocent but intelligent look on the 13 year olds form, Immediately the image rippled, the reflection came back as still her but the form wasn’t so innocent, her eyes were narrowed and sharp years and years of both wisdom and pain could be seen in them. Also a heavenly glow could be seen in the reflection showed who it was. "Sophia” Sophie whispered.

She hasn’t heard from her angel side in months not since a disaster that had shook many of the angels to there cores killing many from the war. “Sophie why do you still remain in a child's form?” Sophia demanded harshly.

Sophie looked startled but gulped looking strong and stubborn saying. “I have a father and mother that both have lost nearly everything in there lives, i don’t want to have them lose me yet”

“You are wise enough to live a long time Sophie”

“But even though you say that Nephilim never live that long because of what we do….the order is destroyed, and all I can do is try to help rebuild it with the information I have….it’s painful” Sophie whispered.

“Child you are bound by a timeline you cannot change when you are going to die and I cannot be as helpful as other angels, though some consider me an Arc angel I am not I have to carry a different weight then the other angels and so do you from other nephilim and mortals. You have a..."

“No!” Sophie denied childishly shaking her head not wanting to hear the rest.

“Sophie!” Sophia said yelling into the water but it started rippling.

“I…I want to remain young for as long as I can….I don’t want to make my mother see another death there isn’t much holding her together anymore besides me and my dad, I can't bare to see her in any more pain." Sophie said tears streaking down her cheeks before standing up.

“Sophie what are you doing?”

“Waking up!”

“You can’t leave without my….”

Sophie spread her wings wide stretching herself letting her gray energy glow before it surrounded her.

Sophie woke up and sat up sweat on her forehead and she wiped it away. She looked around she was in her room, it appeared to be around 5 am. She looked on the floor seeing an Indonesian fantasy book she was reading and picked it up.
“These were supposed to stop nightmares” She muttered putting it on the nightstand next to her.

She then laid back down debating whether to get up or not, she could attempt sleep but she knew her body wouldn’t want that even though she just used energy to get out of a spiritual conversaion with her angel side. But it was too early her mother was asleep and had ears that could hear creaking a mile away and probably would be suspicious of her pale face. She sighed when a familiar meow came and she looked under her covers and giggled. “Hey Yew!”

A gray cat came crawling out with white wings though she was older now the cat still had the appearance of a kitten. Sophie giggled as the cat started batting her hair, she felt tiredness tug at her but she didn’t want to risk Sophia tugging her to her talk to her so she remained awake. Hearing breathing from the other room she played with Yew though a weight on her shoulders realizing that Sophia was starting to talk to her again, the messenger of bad news through the heavens has awoken and Sophie was the only one who could deliver the message.
This is a story based on the recent image I posted on here...it might not make a lot of sense since this is based of an rp I played with my friends but enjoy anyways if you can.
